Skinny: Marrero is a speedy running back with good patience at the line of scrimmage. He knows what he’s looking for in a school.
“I’m looking at the academic reputation of a school, the environment and the tradition of the program,” he said. “I don’t have a timetable for a decision. I want to make sure I make the right choice.”
Marrero’s father played quarterback in high school and was also a professional baseball player. David was the 100-meter champion for Broward County last season and was part of the state champion 4 x 100 team for the last two seasons.
He has no offers yet, but will look to turn heads at the NIKE Camp in Miami in April.
