He has no offers yet.

He has unofficially visited Texas Tech for their junior day, as well as Auburn, Alabama and Louisiana State.

When asked for a list of his current favorites, he named the following schools (listed in order of mention):

1. Fresno State - "They run the kind of offense I like to play in.  It's wide open."

2. LSU - "I like their tradition and playing style.  They have a great stadium, facilities, trainers and campus.  I met the head of their football operations when I visited."

3. Texas Tech - "I went to their junior day.  It hooked me.  Their offense is wide open too.  I talked to Mike Leach for 20 minutes when I was there.

4. Alabama - "I got to watch practice when I was there on my unofficial visit.  Coach North talked to me about their situation.  If I walk on, it would probably be there.  I'd have a chance to play, because of their reduced numbers due to probation."

Skinny: He has a 3.8 GPA and plans to study kinesiology or sports medicine in college.

He bench presses 245 pounds and squats 405 pounds.

He considers his strong points to be: "I'm coachable.  I work on my mechanics everyday.  I have a great drive to win."

His priorities on his college choice are: "That they care about academics.  That's really what college is about.  The atmosphere is also important and how the coaches and players get along."

It's possible that he could make an early decision, but he wants to leave his options open because of the change of offense he will be running this season.
He will get to throw the ball much more with his attempts per game increasing to 25-30 instead of the 8-10 he attempted each game last year.  He feels this will give him a better opportunity to showcase his talents and increase the interest of many more schools.

In his free time he likes to lift weights, play pickup basketball and have playstation tournaments with his friends.
