Junior to Watch: Chris Harris
School: Grandview, Mo.

Position: Cornerback and Wide Receiver
Size and speed: Harris is 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.50 seconds.
Statistics: As a junior, Harris rushed the ball 18 times for 75 yards and one touchdown. He also hauled in 20 passes for 416 yards and six scores. But it appears his futre has him headed for the defensive side of the ball. As a cornerback last year, Harris recorded 78 tackles and had two interceptions.
Favorite schools: The top six schools on Harris' list are Michigan, Nebraska, Memphis, Texas, Tennessee and Ohio State. "He's currently getting mail from Stanford and Memphis," Grandview head coach Joe Hornback said.
Skinny: Harris earned all-conference honors as both a receiver and as defensive back as a junior. "I'm looking for a school that has a good academic program as well as a good football program," Harris said. "I will also look at the distance of the schools from home."
Harris played alongside 2002 signees Wayne Chambers (Oklahoma) and Rimmon McNeesee (K-State) for Grandview this past season.
Harris plans to attend summer camps at Nebraska and Michigan this offseason.
