Position: Linebacker
Size and speed: Caleb Dohrman is 6–foot-3 and 210 pounds. He has a 40-yard dash time of 4.72 seconds.
Statistics: Last season he had 113 tackles, seven sacks, and three fumble recoveries.
Honors: He was named second team all-district as a running back, first team all-district linebacker, first team all-conference as both, and second team all-state linebacker.
Favorite Schools: He's hearing from Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, with Kansas recruiting the hardest, and Missouri being the favorite, due to their good agriculture program.
He would like to make visits to:
Missouri: "I like the good agriculture program, friendly staff, good coaches and style of play."
Kansas: "It's a really good school, and they're interested."
Nebraska: "I like their conditioning program and winning attitude."
Michigan: "I like the cold weather, and it's a good school."
Skinny: Distance will not be a factor, as he's mainly going to look at the education and agriculture departments.
"I move laterally well, fill the hole, have good pursuit and tackling abilities."
He described himself as a hard-nosed tough player, comparing his style of play to Chicago Bear Brian Urlacher.
He has attended camps at Missouri and Oklahoma and plans to attend those camps again, as well as Kansas and the Nike camp at Colorado.
His dream school would be Michigan or Missouri. His Dad is an alumus of Missouri.
He plans to major in agriculture business and has set his sports goal as a state championship.
He named Joe Michaels of Santa Fe High School as his toughest opposing player.
He plays center in basketball and third base and catcher in baseball, with the only interest beyond high school in those sports being an invite to try out for the Atlanta Braves.
He benches 240 pounds, squats 530 pounds, has a vertical leap of 28 inches, and a cumulative GPA of 3.95, and will take the ACT in April.
