Position: Inside Linebacker
Size and speed: He is 6-foot-1, 200 pounds. He ran a 4.65 hand held timed 40 yard dash at his at high school.
Statistics: He was not able to furnish his statistics at this time.
Honors: Ringwood was named first team all-conference, All-Metro by the Kansas City Star and all-state. He was named second team All-Metro Sports TV. He was an All-American selection.
Favorite Schools: Ringwood is hearing from Missouri, Kansas, Kansas State and Wisconsin. Wisconsin and Missouri are recruiting the hardest, and though it could change, Missouri would probably be the favorite at this time.
Asked if he could choose his five official visits today, where would they be, he said, "I haven't thought that far ahead yet."
Skinny: "My dream school would be Oklahoma, if they offered, and that is also my parents favorite."
"Distance will not really be a factor, as I'm looking for a good football and business program."
He said of his strong points: "I'm good at filling the hole and my lateral movement towards the ball."
He descibes himself as: "I'm a hard hitter."
He compares his style of play to Levar Arrington of the Washington Redskins.
He has attended no camps yet, though he may attend the Missouri camp at Blue Springs High School this summer.
"My main goal is to build my strength and cut my 40 time by at least two tenths of a second."
He plans to major in business and has not yet set a sports goal for next year.
When asked about his toughest opposing player, he said, "I guess that would have to be Tony Temple of Rockhurst."
Ringwood has a bench of 240 from over a year ago, a vertical leap of 28 inches and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
