Favorite Schools: Banks is hearing from a number of schools thus far. USC, Cal, Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Fresno State are a sampling of schools interested in Brian.
The Skinny: Banks has great size and speed, you don’t find many linebackers with Brian’s 6-4 height and his 4.5 speed. You might see his speed in an outside backer, but Banks will start as a middle linebacker for the legendary Long Beach Poly program his senior season.
Banks is a team leader and his popular with his teammates. Banks has taken the responsibility to make sure his teammates are showing up for workouts.
Brian is a tall, lanky, and rangy athlete who hasn’t even begun to fill out. He’s already known as a tremendous hitter whose bone jarring hits get his teammates and Poly crowds going.
Banks is a three-year varsity player for Poly. He played for the fast group as sophomore. The fast group is a defensive scheme that Poly uses when the situation calls for fast guys at every defensive position. Brian was at one end and Rivals All-America tight end and UCLA bound Marcedes Lewis was on the opposite edge.
Banks is a very personable young man and we will keep you informed on his recruiting progress as the season goes on.
