Size and Speed: Campbell is 6-foot-0, 183 pounds. He ran a 4.5 electronic timed 40 yard dash on turf at last year's Missouri camp.
Statistics: Anton Campbell had 156 carries for 1540 yards, while scoring 18 touchdowns as a running back and 74 tackles with five interceptions as a safety last season.
Honors: Campbell was named first team All Conference as both a runningback and defensive back and made first team All State as a running back last season.
Favorite Schools: Anton Campbell has offers from Missouri and Illinois and is hearing from Texas A&M, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan, Kansas and Iowa.
"At this time Ohio State and Wisconsin seem to be recruiting the hardest."
Who would you make official visits to, if you could at this time?
"I don't have a clue. I really don't know who I would make my visits to if I had to make them today, though I do plan to commit early before next season starts, so that I can concentrate on the season."
Skinny: Campbell said of his strong points: "My heart and I'm a more complete back than most other runningbacks because I'm a good blocker. I have great vision for seeing the holes and the ability to shake you or run over you."
He described himself as: "A complete back."
He compares his runningback style to that of Egdrin James of the Indianapolis Colts or the Jacksonville Jaguars' Fred Taylor.
He attended camps at Missouri and Illinois and played summer league seven on seven football last summer. "I expect to make a lot more camps this year."
He plans to major in Business and has set his sports goals all ready.
"I want to achieve little goals on the way to the state championship this year and playing Division 1 football the following year."
Distance probably won't be a factor.
"I'm looking for a large school with the education standards, facilities and coaches to make a successful program."
Campbell has no favorite at this time, although Nebraska could be his dream school if they offered.
