Position: Running back
Size and Speed: Albert is 5-foot-10, 195 pounds. His best 40-yard dash time is 4.48 seconds.
Statistics: In only seven games last season, Albert rushed for 1,300 yards and scored 17 touchdowns while adding 400 yards receiving. He has a bench press of 315 pounds.
Honors: First team All-South Jersey, first team All-League, and second team All-State.
Favorite Schools: Albert has schools from across the country showing interest in his services with letters from more than 35 D-1A programs. At this time he has no favorite, but mentioned that he has an offer from Rutgers. Wisconsin and Boston College both told him that they would be offering soon.
Skinny: A slashing, bruising back with speed to burn, Albert is considered by many to be one of the top backs in the state of New Jersey. With a bench press of 315 pounds, he dominates defenders with his upper-body strength and is super-quick on his feet.
"I've been waiting for this upcoming year for a while and I'm excited about it. I have many schools that are very interested and once the recruiting season gets into full gear I should have a better idea about what schools I'm interested in."
For now, besides Rutgers, Wisconsin and Boston College, he has heard from the likes of Penn State, Michigan, Maryland, Syracuse, Kansas St, North Carolina and many others. He is focused on having a great senior year.
"I'm working out hard and getting faster as well. This is very important to me and I want to make the best of my situation."
Look for Albert to have many offers before the new season begins.
