Position: Linebacker
Size and speed: Adam stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 235 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds, bench presses 330 pounds, squats 450 and has a 28-inch vertical jump.
Statistics: As a freshman, Muzika made 31 tackles (three for a loss) and had one sack. As a sophomore he made 90 tackles (seven for a loss), one sack, two forced fumbles and two recovered fumbles. As a junior playing mostly defensive end he made 57 tackles (four for a loss), four sacks and two forced fumbles.
Honors: All County in 2000 and 2001, All Conference in 2001 and was an All State nominee. Was named All Area by the Herald Standard, All AAA by the Tribune Review, Player to Watch by the PFN and the Tribune Review.
Favorite Schools: Penn State, Alabama, Texas A & M, Ohio State, Duke, South Carolina, Syracuse, Michigan State.
Skinny: Muzika could play inside linebacker or defensive end in college and has excellent speed and pursuit ability. He was invited to junior days at Penn State, Syracuse, Boston College, Alabama, Michigan State and others. He’ll camp at Alabama and will attend the NIKE Camp at Penn State. The Nittany Lions are his current favorite.
“Penn State has always been my favorite team growing up,” he said. “I also like the tradition of Alabama and that it’s south. Texas A & M produces great linebackers, Ohio State is a Big 10 powerhouse, Duke provides a great education and South Carolina has Lou Holtz.”
Muzika describes his play as “aggressive yet under control” and should have some offers after the May evaluation period.
