Junior TE receiving plenty of mail
Springboro, Ohio, standout Jake Ballard has been a varsity starter at tight end since his freshman year, and a starter at defensive end his sophomore and junior seasons.
The 6-foot-7, 245 pound Ballard, who was named defensive player of the year this season, could play on either side of the ball in college.

"I get a lot of mail from Iowa, Virginia, Notre Dame, Alabama, Duke, and Miami of Ohio," Ballard said. "I went on a visit to Ohio State in the summer.
"Miami of Florida is another one. I went to a Notre Dame game. I went to the Ohio State-Wisconsin game. I was supposed to go to two Iowa games, but I couldn't make it.
"I'd love to go to Ohio State, that would be awesome. But any of those schools would be great."
