Junior RB draws interest from top programs

Canton (Ohio) McKinley junior running back Morgan Williams said in November he had Ohio State as the No. 1 school on his list. While Williams says he has a few other schools in mind now, he also says the Buckeyes remain his top choice.
"Ohio State is my favorite," Williams said. "But I have a few others in mind. I'm looking at Illinois, Notre Dame and probably Michigan."

All of those schools as well as others are showing interest in Williams.
"I get letters every day," Williams said. "Illinois has been sending a lot of stuff lately. Indiana and Iowa too. And Northwestern."
Williams will soon try to see some of the schools he is interested in.
"I've been invited to some junior days," he said. "But I haven't been to any yet. Most likely I'll go to some pretty soon."
Williams attended the Ohio State-Iowa game as a guest of the Buckeyes.
"Most McKinley people go to Ohio State and then are successful after college," Williams said. "I've been watching Ohio State since I was a kid. It would be a nice opportunity down there."
The 6-foot-0 and 190-pound Williams rushed for 2418 yards in leading McKinley to an undefeated regular season and a 12-1 record overall. Williams averaged 10 yards per carry and scored 31 times.
