Junior QB with a trio of offers

When it comes to athletic quarterbacks one of the top prospects will be Jacoby Brissett. Brissett, 6-5 and 225 pounds, is from West Palm Beach Dwyer High School in south Florida.
"The season is going good," Brissett said. "We are starting to really come around and getting better. We are 5-1 and play Okeechobee tomorrow night.

"I have improved over last season. I am not sharing time so that helps. I am a better leader this season and a full time quarterback. The reps have helped me too. It also helps to have all that talent around me."
Brissett is big, has a good arm and can move around and make things happen.
"I would day my strengths as a quarterback are seeing the field, I have a big arm, and deceptive speed.
"I need to work on my timing and accuracy. I need to work on getting the right reads. Fundamentals are big and I can always get better there."
According to Brissett, he already has scholarship offers from Florida International, West Virginia, and Boston College.
"I have plenty of verbal offers but those three are all official written offers. Teams like Florida, Tennessee, Wisconsin, LSU, Miami, USF, and Ohio State are recruiting me hard but haven't offered yet.
"My first verbal offer was from Boston College. That was back in my 9th grade year and yes, I was a little surprised. They were also the first to offer in writing. I really like their offense and BC is a team I am definitely interested in."
Are the Eagles the early leader for Brissett?
"I am open with the whole process. I have talked with some of my teammates like Matt (Elam) and Gerald (Christian). They basically said for me to take it all in now but it's coming sooner than you think. They said to make the right decision for me. I have seen some of these guys struggle with it like Matt. Matt was under so much pressure because he committed early.
"For me, I think I will play it out. When I am 100% sure I will make my decision."
