Junior QB is on everyones radar

Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt quarterback Jeremy Ricker is out to prove he's the best quarterback in Pennsylvania regardless of class. Despite an up-and-down start, big-time programs seem to agree.
"So far Jeremy has three offers in writing and a ton of verbal offers," said Jeremy's father, Rob. "Miami, Virginia and Maryland have offered in writing and others are on their way. He's also getting a lot of mail from UCLA, USC, Cal lately so the west coast seems to have found him."

Ricker has verbal offers from schools like Michigan State, NC State, Pitt and Virginia Tech. Right now it's too early to name leaders.
"He's interested in a lot of different schools," said his father. "Obviously the schools that have offered in writing are of interest and the three west coast schools as well. There are too many to narrow down just yet."
Ricker is off to an uneven start this season, but more because of an unstable offensive line and some drops from his wideouts.
"He has seven touchdowns and seven interceptions through his first four games," said his dad. "He's thrown for 705 yards and the team is 3-1. In their loss he had four interceptions, but three of them were pretty much not his fault. There have been a lot of dropped passes and Jeremy has been running around a bit. He has two touchdowns on the ground as well."
Ricker is one of the top quarterback prospects in the nation for 2006.
