Junior QB is a sleeper to watch

New Haven (Conn.) Hyde Leadership was known this season for producing top Division I talents including Bruce Campbell and Jamie Nixon, next season the program is looking to be pretty young as they will be led by a sleeper 2007 quarterback Robert Walker. What makes the 6-foot-2, 180-pounder stand out?
"He's been our backup throughout his career, but this season he showed in the few times he played that he has the poise and athleticism to be a great quarterback," said Hyde head coach John Acquavita. "We had a senior at quarterback this year playing so we didn't put Robert in because we didn't want to break up the harmony. When he played he showed that he was a potent passer and very smart making good decisions.

"He's also a fun kid to be around and showed he can definitely sling the ball. We plan to get him into some camps this spring and summer so that scholarship people can check him out."
Due to the fact that Walker was a backup to a first team all-state quarterback this season he hasn't received any interest from colleges to date. Acquavita believes Walker will surprise some people next year though.
