Junior profile: Sean Kavanagh
Junior Sean Kavanagh will be one of the top defensive back prospects in the greater Cleveland area class of 2005.
The 6-foot-0 and 205 pound Kavanagh was a varsity starter at strong safety during his junior year for Cleveland (Ohio) St. Ignatius. Kavanagh played on special teams during his sophomore season.

Kavanagh made 95 tackles and intercepted three passes during his junior season.
Kavanagh, who runs a 4.4 second 40 yard dash, has a 3.0 GPA and will take the SAT in March.
"I have some mail from colleges," Kavanagh said. "Northwestern, Purdue, Boston College, and Bowling Green are some of them."
"I'd be interested in Purdue, Boston College, and Northwestern the most."
"Northwestern sent me stuff about their junior day, and Kent State."
Kavanagh said none of the schools he mentioned have offered a scholarship to this point.
