Junior Dave McClain will be one of the top offensive line prospects in the state of Pennsylvania's class of 2005.
The 6-foot-5 and 325 pound McClain played offensive guard during his junior season at Doylestown (Pa.) Central Bucks East, as well as a little defensive tackle. However he is being recruited as an offensive tackle.
McClain bench presses 325 pounds and runs the 40 yard dash in 5.3 seconds. He has a 3.0 GPA and scored a 970 on the SAT.
"Some of my top schools are Penn State, Ohio State, West Virginia, and Iowa and Virginia," McClain said. "And I've heard from Wisconsin. I'll definitely consider them."
"I'm going to Maryland's junior day Feb. 28. I have invites from Virginia and Ohio State."
"But I don't really have a favorite school. I'm just taking it all in."
