Junior OT Wallace wants to take unofficials

Richmond (Va.) Varina junior offensive tackle Marquis Wallace hasn't pulled in an offer to date. However, schools are very interested in the 6-foot-4, 284-pounder and he is thinking about taking some unofficial visits this spring.
"I am planning to go down to LSU, Florida State and UCLA," he said. "I believe LSU's junior day is the end of this month. Florida State is in February and UCLA has a couple date either March or April.

"I want to go and take some visits cause these schools are interested in me. I think I may be able to get offers from them in the spring or summer. Plus, most of these schools have sports management or sports marketing as a major. That's what I want."
Wallace claims he is considering a trip up to Rutgers as well.
The Commonwealth prospect continues to claim no leaders though.
"That is changing a lot, new schools are coming in and I'm getting a lot more interest," he said. "I'm looking at a lot of things. What prospects are going where and how their recruiting classes look."
While Wallace hasn't landed any scholarships, he hopes they will be coming soon.
"As of right now, Virginia is making sure my grades are straight," he stated. "I've heard Maryland has said once they see film they'll offer.
"I'm sending out my film to individual schools. I haven't gotten it done quite yet, the film should be going out very soon."
In the meantime, Wallace is working hard.
"I'm just training for camps, getting bigger, faster and stronger."
