Junior OL staying busy

Junior offensive lineman Eric Gallo of Holland (Pa.) Council Rock South has already taken several visits this fall and continued his busy schedule on Saturday with a visit to Penn State. Gallo also has three more visits lined up in November.
"The game day environment at Penn State was amazing," said Gallo, who is 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds. "I really enjoyed the game and I had a lot of fun."

Another highlight for Gallo was a chat he had with the coaching staff.
"Before the game I got to talk to Coach Butler and Coach McWhorter in the recruiting lounge," said Gallo. "They're good coaches. We talked about our seasons and how we are doing. We talked about the whiteout too."
Despite the loss by Penn State, Gallo was still impressed by what he saw from the Nittany Lions.
"I thought Penn State played well, especially in the first half," he said. "Ohio State is a very good team. Penn State had a couple of tough turnovers and penalties."
Gallo has already taken several visits this fall and has a few more lined up.
"I'm going to Virginia on November 15th, West Virginia on November 17th and Pitt on November 24th," said Gallo. "I'm hoping to get to know the coaches and what they are like. I'm also going to look at the campus and academics."
On the field this fall, Gallo continues to see time at offensive guard and defensive tackle, as well as occasional time at defensive end and even middle linebacker.
"The season has been tough, but we have started to play better," he said. "Our two best players are returning from injury. We blew out William Tennent in our last game. We played well."
