Junior Makes A Very Early Commitment

Tight end Garrett Bushong (6'5 225 4.8) from Ionia (MI) caught 32 passes last season, his sophomore year. Bushong, who will be one of the top prospects in the state of Michigan next year, bench presses 285 pounds and is athletic. He has a 3.5 GPA. Bushong has already committed to Michigan State.

"I've been there a lot," Bushong said when asked about his commitment to the Spartans. "I've been to camp there since the 9th grade. It's like a family there. Everybody is cool. I feel like I'm home there. And I like Michigan State's offense. I talked to Purdue too. They were the other school that seemed real serious, but they hadn't offered." Bushong's commitment gets Bobby Williams and the Spartans off and running for next season's recruiting class.
