Junior lineman planning two visits

At 6-foot-7 and 315-pounds, junior offensive lineman Ramy Kased of Old Bridge (N.J.) is a recruit who is quickly gaining interest. Two schools are currently standing out to Kased, including one that has close ties with his family.
"Recruiting is moving along pretty well," said Kased. "I'm getting more looks from other schools now. I'm getting interest now from Wisconsin, Penn State, Harvard and I got a questionnaire from Florida."

Kased, who mentioned that Boston College and Purdue are currently showing him the most interest, did not visit any schools during the fall, but has two future visits in mind.
"I'm hoping to visit Syracuse during the winter break and then in a few months I'm trying to visit Wisconsin," said Kased. "Syracuse has always been part of the family, because my dad went there. Wisconsin has a great football team and they have a great engineering program, which is what I want to study."
This fall was a learning process for Kased and Old Bridge.
"Our record wasn't very good at all, but our team matured a lot and I think we are set to have a great season next year," said Kased.
Personally, Kased was pleased with his level of play this fall.
"I played pretty well," said Kased. "I played with more confidence than last year and did anything to help the team win. I got off the ball a lot faster and that's just because of all the conditioning and drills we did in the off-season."
