Junior LB planning a visit

Junior linebacker Troy Reeder of Wilmington (Del.) Salesianum School got off to a quick recruiting start earlier this year by picking up three offers. Now with September 1st here and gone, interest has once again quickly picked up for the big linebacker, who is looking to take a visit this weekend.
"Recruiting has been good," said Reeder, who is 6-foot-3 and 232-pounds. "I've got lots of stuff in the past two days now that I can be contacted."

The new contact period has brought some new schools into the mix, plus several that have been in pursuit for months.
"A lot of schools I've been talking to for awhile have sent me a few messages and there's quite a few new schools," said Reeder, who already has offers from Virginia, Rutgers and Delaware. "I have the three offers and a lot are waiting for me to come out to campus."
His next visit will likely be to a school that has already offered.
"I might go to the Virginia/Penn State game next week at Virginia and catch up with those coaches, but otherwise I haven't made any decisions on visits," said Reeder, who discussed his possible visit to Virginia. "I think we're just going to try to continue to get comfortable with each other and this time I'll be able to experience their game day and what that's like."
Aside from the three schools who have already offered, Reeder also claims serious recent interest from Washington, Ohio State, Miami and Penn State.
On the field, Reeder and his teammates begin their season this Friday night against Brandywine.
"We are going to have a good year," said Reeder, who mentioned that he spent the majority of his off-season working on improving his speed.
