Junior LB performed well at BC

Prospects from Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep get plenty of attention from college coaches if they have the potential to play at the college level and Mike Strizak is a junior prospect to watch from the school.
The 6-foot-2, 228-pound linebacker is physically and athletically impressive, bench pressing 305 pounds while running the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds.

Don Bosco is always a talented football team so it can be difficult to earn a starting spot. Last year Strizak split time with other players at linebacker but this year he's going into his junior season as a starter.
Over the summer he and his teammates attended the Boston College camp and Strizak performed well enough to get his name out there with some coaches.
"I've gotten a few letters from Rutgers and a few letters from Boston College," Strizak noted. "I've talked to Pitt and UCF and that's about it. Nothing major yet.
"When I went to the BC camp I made it into their showcase."
The Boston College camp was a great experience for Strizak. He learned, if he didn't already know, that he can compete well against some of the other top talents from the region and he also got a good feel for what the Eagles are all about.
"I liked the feel of the place just because it's a lot like the way Bosco runs," he explained. "They're really hard working and the coaches are going to be on top of you. You're always moving around. You're never just sitting there. It had a good feel to it."
Boston College is just the kind of school Strizak could see himself playing for.
"I'd be interested in Big East, ACC schools," he said. "Somewhere I could stay pretty close to home. Maybe Pitt ... I like Pitt a lot. Maybe Maryland, Boston College or somebody like that. I'd be open to pretty much anybody but I really like the schools in the Big East and ACC."
