Sheldon was an all-conference, all-area, and junior all-state selection.
Sheldon is a fine all-around athlete who also runs track and has a 3.0 GPA.
He will draw his share of attention from recruiters.
"I'm interested in Purdue," Sheldon said. "And I guess Indiana and maybe Ball State.
"And some schools in Illinois like Eastern Illinois and Southern Illinois. I can't think of anyone else right now."
But almost certainly there will be others.
"Maybe Ohio State is another one," Sheldon said. "And I like Notre Dame."
