Junior DE Gee headed to The Hun

Junior defensive end Mike Gee is currently listed as attending Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep. However, the 6-foot-1, 228-pounder will be playing his football for another program this season.
"Things didn't work out at Bosco," said Gee, who didn't attend Bosco for the spring semester. "So I won't be going back. I'm either going to go to The Hun School and repeat my sophomore season altogether or go to Paramus Catholic or Bergen Catholic. Right now I'm leaning towards The Hun, my mom really likes it there and it's a great school."

If Gee enrolls at The Hun School, he'll be a senior in 2007, easily making him one of the top recruits in the country for that class. He was already considered a potential Top 100 prospect for 2006.
"I already have a bunch of offers but I have five schools I like the best right now already," he said. "Louisville and Rutgers are at the top of the list and both have offered. Then it's Nebraska, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. All offered except for Virginia Tech."
Gee also has verbal offers from Alabama, Boston College, Wisconsin, UConn and others. What does he like about each of his favorites?
"I like the big things happening at Rutgers, I think they're going to go places soon," he said. "Lousiville would be a good fit for me and I've always followed Virginia Tech since I was younger. Nebraska has great tradition and they can get guys in the NFL. I don't know much about North Carolina, but my ex-teammates Brian Roche and Darius Mann both said it was a good place so I'll look into it."
