Junior catching eye of recruiters

Columbus (Ohio) Independence junior Jacob Ramsey is a talented and versatile performer. Ramsey was a varsity starter at outside linebacker his freshman year. He started at both fullback and defensive end during his sophomore season.
The 6-foot-0 and 205 pound Ramsey rushed for close to 300 yards on just 24 carries his sophomore year, and scored five times. Ramsey also made 79 solo tackles, had 14 assists, and registered 14 sacks. For his work he was named all-city and all-district.

Ramsey, not surprisingly, is drawing interest from college recruiters.
"I get mail from Ohio State, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Pitt, and there's a couple more," Ramsey said. "I can't remember the others right now."
"I'm interested in Florida State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Pitt definitely. My favorite is Florida State. I like their running game, their running style."
What position does Ramsey think he will play in college?
"It could be running back, strong safety, or linebacker," Ramsey said. "I don't know which one I'll play."
Ramsey attended combines at Ohio State and Cincinnati earlier this summer, and went to Akron's football camp.
