As class of 2016 four-star cornerback John Broussard enters his junior season for Phenix City (Ala.) Central, he has six favorites including Auburn, LSU, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky and South Carolina.
"I don't have a leader right now," said the 5-foot-11, 164-pound Broussard, who was named to the recently released Rivals 250 for the class of 2016 (ranked No. 83 overall and No. 3 at his position).
He plans on making numerous school trips this year and wants to attend the Clemson at Georgia (Aug. 30), Alabama at LSU (Nov. 8) and Auburn at Alabama (Nov. 29) games.
Here's what he had to say about some of his favorite schools:
Auburn: I love the atmosphere. They show lots of love and they treat me like family. And I love the way coach Smith coaches - he's real energetic."
LSU: "They're very close to me. I have grandparents, aunts and uncles (in Louisiana) and I go there quite a bit. I haven't been to (LSU) yet but I talk to the coaches a lot, and they put DBs into the league. It's a good school and I've been watching them since I was small."
Florida State: "I went down there and I got along well with the coaches. I like the way they taught me while I was there."
Georgia: "I went there for Dawg Night. The coaches were friendly and we connected well. They showed us around and they were cool."
Kentucky: "I was there last summer. They were my first offer. Me and coach Ansley connected and we talk a lot."
South Carolina: "That was my last visit (this offseason). I went with a couple of teammates and they just showed us around campus and saw all the buildings we'd in if we went there. The coaches taught me a lot while I was there. They're cool."
