Jumbo athlete has one offer

Dawson Hadnot does a little bit of everything for Garland, Texas. The 6-foot-1, 265-pound senior played some quarterback and running back a year ago and now lines up at both tight end and defensive tackle for the Owls.
Because of the jumbo athlete's versatility colleges have taken notice of Hadnot. He says a handful have shown the most interest so far with one offer having come his way.

"I'm hearing from a few DI schools," Hadnot said. "Louisiana-Monroe, North Texas, Central Arkansas and Duke are the main ones I'm talking to. Central Arkansas has offered. Louisiana-Monroe seems like they might soon and North Texas might."
Hadnot has yet to set up any of his five allotted official visits but a few programs would like to get him onto campus. He will try to visit them all after the season is over.
"I've talked to a few about it," he said. "I've talked to North Texas and Central Arkansas about it. Louisiana-Monroe wants me to come visit too."
With Hadnot having experience at a number of positions he could seemingly play a lot of places in college. However, most schools like him on the defensive front.
"They're all looking at me to play defensive tackle or defensive end, somewhere along the d-line," he said. "I've played d-end all my life so that's where I'm the most comfortable. I could play nose or anywhere along the line though."
With Garland focused on trying to make a deep playoff run Hadnot has not had much time to put into his recruitment. Because of that he says he has no current favorites.
"Not at this moment right now," he said. "I'm still just kind of waiting and seeing what all comes in."
