Judson makes surprise pick

Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek athlete Will Judson is one of the fastest players in the country and has made a commitment that may come as somewhat of a surprise to some.
“I chose Florida A&M over the other offers because that was the best situation for me,” said Judson.

“They already said that kickoff and punt return would be my job next year and they expect me to come in at the slot next year and start.”
Judson chose the Rattlers over offers Duke, Wake Forest, Indiana, Memphis and Georgia Tech.
“They run a four wide receiver offense, and I think that playing in an offense like that will best utilize my talent.”
At 5-foot-9 and only 165 pounds Judson is small, but he wowed people at several camps throughout the southeast with his blazing speed, when he posted sub 4.3 times on several occasions.
“Florida A&M is also moving up to division one this year, and we will play schools like Oklahoma, Virginia Tech and Illinois. It is also in Florida where I am originally from (Miami) and I like it down there.”
“We are going to come back every year to Atlanta to play Tennessee state in the Georgia Dome and my family and friends will get to see me every year. A&M is a program on the rise.”
