Judge hearing from SEC, Pac-12 teams

Recruiting is moving along slowly for Cameron Judge but the Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian linebacker is hearing from Vanderbilt and Utah and hopes more schools start contacting him soon.
Former Oaks Christian teammate Dillon van der Wal plays for the Commodores and Judge, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound outside linebacker, said he's definitely interested in learning more about that program.

Playing with van der Wal could definitely be a draw to Judge as his recruitment moves forward.
"I've talked to Dillon van der Wal about it a little bit," Judge said. "He was a good friend of mine when he was over at Oaks.
"He says Nashville is pretty much like Los Angeles. He said if you like L.A. then you would probably like Nashville a lot. He said it isn't all that different setting-wise. Having a friend there would help a lot."
Judge, who finished with 112 tackles in his junior season and helped lead Oaks Christian to a record of 11-3, said he has sent out film to Arizona State and Oregon and plans to mail out more highlight tapes soon.
He thinks once college coaches see his film then interest should come pouring in.
"I'm still waiting to hear back from them," Judge said.
The Oaks Christian standout is not rushing the recruiting process. He has not scheduled any unofficial visits or junior day trips and is just taking his time with things.
Judge has already visited Oregon and UCLA and said recently that he would like to visit Arizona State. He was one of the top linebackers at the recent U.S. Army National Combine in San Antonio.
