Juco WR working on visits

El Dorado (Kan.) Butler County C.C. three-star receiver Wallace Franklin signed with Nebraska out of high school and the Huskers appear to still be interested in bringing him back to Lincoln – even though they've not officially offered him a scholarship.
"I've talked to Nebraska recently and set up a visit for Dec 8," Franklin said.

"I'll be interested to see what happens with them and how really interested they are in me. I had been hearing also from KU and K-State, but I don't have visits set up with them or anything.
"I don't know if I'm going to visit them or not. They haven't talked to me in a while so I don't know about that."
Franklin doesn't know what he really wants to do or what he's looking for on his visits. He has a few things in mind, but he mainly wants to get a feeling from the school when he's on the visit.
"I want to see how everything is," he said. "I want to see the fans, the coaches, and how the players are, I'm just going to watch the team and see how it is. I'm just going to know when I've found the right place."
This season was a good one for Franklin. He earned first team all-conference honors and got nominated for All-American honors.
"I think I played awesome this year," he said. "I made first-team all-conference, and I was the third ranked player in the region."
Butler County will now play in the Dalton Defenders Bowl this weekend against Vermilion (Minn.) Community College
"We're definitely going to win – I know we are," he said. "I then plan on focusing on my recruiting after the bowl game."
