Juco WR makes switch

El Dorado (Kan.) Butler County C.C. three-star receiver Edgard Theliar has made a Signing Day switch. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder has decided to sign with FIU instead of USF.
"It was a couple of different factors when it came down to it," Theliar said. "I had to make a decision that will help me get to the pros, get a good degree and set me up for the rest of my list.

"The thing about FIU that I really love is that many of those coaches were at the University of Miami and they were key in their success. They know how to get you ready to head to the next level. But I also liked the city itself and how it'll position myself in a great job market for when I graduate."
Theliar is ranked as the nation's No. 56 junior college player in the nation. Theliar said his teammate, Tyrece Gaines, did not sign his national letter of intent this morning and will announce his decision at a 1 p.m. CST news conference.
