Juco WR drawing early attention

North Dakota State College of Science wide receiver Emanuel Baker arrived at junior college with good credentials out of Florida. Now, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect is ready to show his skills to college scouts and find a new home to continue his college career.
"Emanuel is going to be a very good wide receiver for us this fall," NDSCS assistant coach Mike Shafer said. "He is fast, athletic and an excellent route runner.

"He's not limited to just routes where he makes the catch. He can do things after he makes the catch and he's also a deep threat with his speed."
Baker's brother, Tyrone, played at Florida from 1993-98. The Gators are among the schools at the top of the list for Baker as well.
"Right now, his top five schools are Florida, Iowa, Oregon, Michigan and Iowa State," Shafer said. "He's getting mail from Oregon State, Washington, Kansas and Kansas State in addition to others, too."
During his freshman season, Baker caught 13 passes for 234 yards and four touchdowns. He also had five kick returns for a 35 yard average including one score.
