JUCO wideout taking recruiting slow

"Right now I'm not doing any official visits. More than likely I'll be taking those after the season.
"I'm just trying to play every game and produce for my team and recruiting will take care of itself after the season."
Smith discussed what he's looking for in a college.
"I'm looking for a school where I can get a lot of academic assistance," he said. "I want to maintain my academic requirements and things of that nature. I want to know the coaching staff and feel I can mesh with them."
On the field, Smith is impressing with approximately 15 receptions for 350-yards and four scores at the halfway point of the season.
"I'm just enjoying the game and love everything about it," he said. "Prior to this, I was only on the field for one year and I'm using this as a learning experience. I'm learning how I'm able to adapt.
"I'm seeing a big difference in my play too. My route running is the thing that has really improved. I can make something happen."
