JUCO visiting Florida schools

Seeing as how he spent the fall at Erie Community College in Orchard Park, New York, it should come as no surprise that Mohammed Saleh became pretty well acquainted with the Buffalo football program in recent months.
Now, for the first time in a while, Saleh will be visiting colleges that aren't in Erie's backyard.

"I'm taking a visit tomorrow to UCF tomorrow in Orlando," Saleh explained. "On Wednesday I'll be at FAU for another visit, since I'm down here in Florida already. Next week I'm going back up to Buffalo.
"These two (visits) coming up will be the first two I've been on since the season. You could consider Buffalo a visit but they're right down the street from me."
Saleh said he has received a verbal offer from Robert Morris, though they are not putting on the full court press yet, so to speak. They're still focused on prospects that plan on enrolling later this year.
The junior college corner plans on finishing his work at Erie in December so he can enroll at a four-year college early in 2011.
"South Florida wanted me to visit but they (the coaches) all got fired last week," he continued. "That's out the window now. They were the school in Florida that was looking at me the most, compared to UCF, FAU and FIU.
"I'm kind of interested in FAU, but I've never been to that campus. I'll be sending my film out, because they want to see that. Since I'll be home I might as well give it to them in person. They want me to come in for a little visit, then they'll probably get me in for an official visit later."
