Juco TE picks SEC

One of the nation’s top junior college tight ends has made his decision and he’s heading to the SEC. So what school did Lackawanna (Pa.) College three-star standout David Kenner commit to?
“I committed to Florida today,” Kenner, who is 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, said.

“It was just everything about them that made me want to go ahead and make the decision. But in the end, I really think it’s the best place for me to get to the next level at.”
Kenner was slated to visit Kansas this weekend, Kansas State on December 6 and Maryland on December 13. He had already visited Kentucky, but said now that he’s a very solid pledge and is in the process of canceling all of his visits.
“The coaches are just so great down there,” Kenner said.
“Coach Dixon is a great guy and he was really concerned about me and my family. I’m going to be away from home, and he wanted me to feel comfortable about being away and he did everything that he could to make me and my family feel like it was the right place for me.”
Dixon is going to graduate at semester. He said he has three years to play two seasons and has been clocked at 4.6 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
