JUCO tackle cancels visit

Brooklyn (N.Y.) ASA College offensive tackle Vincent Brown was scheduled to take an official visit to Western Kentucky this weekend. It was to be the first official visit of the recruiting process for him.
Unfortunately, those plans didn't work out.

"No, I didn't get a chance to go," Brown said. "There was a miscommunication over the ticket between me and the coaches.
"I've talked to coach (Willie) Taggart, the head coach, and he's gonna fly out to New York to meet with me on Monday. I was talking to him about (an official visit) and he was saying he's going to try to work it out so I can get out there, so they're not erased from my top two. They're still one of my two options."
Southern Miss is Brown's other option and he will be visiting Hattiesburg, Mississippi this coming weekend.
"I've been in touch with coach (Larry) Fedora and coach Pat (Washington) from Southern Miss pretty much every day this week. I'm going to be there on December 10. Me and my mom are gonna go down there to check it out.
"It's just those two (schools) right now. I'm not leaning to either of them before my visits. It wouldn't make sense for me to do that before my visits.
"Southern Miss has been consistent recruiting me but so has Western Kentucky."
