Juco stud is Pac 10 bound

According to one source in Corvallis, Oregon, highly sought after wide receiver Ruben Jackson has given a verbal commitment to Oregon State University. The Corvallis Gazette Times reported yesterday that Jackson has chosen OSU over Arizona and Cal.
Jackson was a jucaltransfer.com all state player at City College of San Francisco after catching 76 passes for 1,493 yards and 15 touchdowns in 12 games in 2004. CCSF finished 11-1 and lost to College of the Canyons in the California state championship game, 39-32.

Jackson is 5-foot-11, 190 lbs and runs the 40 in just under 4.4. In addition to Oregon State, Arizona and Cal, South Carolina had also shown interest in the speedy receiver during the 2004 campaign.
With the Jackson verbal, Oregon State has now received nine commitments from the California junior college ranks. Neither Jackson nor San Francisco coach George Rush could be reached for comment.
