JUCO star Donte Nicholson commits to ASU

Arizona State scored huge today when one of the best players on the JUCO level Donte Nicholson (6-2, 210, 4.4) from Mt. SAC committed to the Sun Devils.
In an earlier interview with Mt. SAC head coach Bill Fisk he had this to say about his star defensive back. “We play him at safety but he can play corner. Donte is that good of a player. Nicholson is a great hitter with a high football IQ.”

Nicholson has canceled visits to Missouri, Oregon and USC, but the word is he hasn’t been able to cancel a visit to Washington just yet.
Washington was the school that Nicholson committed to when he was out of high school
Nicholson graduates in December and will be able to participate in spring ball. Nicholson also has 3x2 eligibility.
It appears that Nicholson is a solid commit but until he cancels his visit to Washington we will have to look at this commit as a soft one.
According to Ruth Robbins of RealDawg.com Nicholson is going to think about for a couple of days if he will take his trip to Washington or not, the decision it is said will be in a few days.
