Juco safety ready for first trip

The race has been narrowed to six schools for Gibril Wilson, the safety from City College of San Francisco.
Wilson, who visits Washington officially this weekend, is also scheduled to visit Tennessee on Nov. 23 and Florida on Dec. 14. He has already visited USC back on Oct. 12.

Oregon or Kansas State will likely get the fifth and final remaining official visit from the San Jose (Calif.) Oak Grove product.
“It’s getting time where I need to start thinking about deciding,” Wilson said. “I liked USC. I’m excited about this trip to Washington and the other places, too. It’s time to figure all this stuff out.”
All of the schools involved, according to Wilson, have offered him a scholarship.
Washington State, Oregon State and Arizona had been under consideration earlier, but the 6-foot-1, 190-pound Wilson, who is expected to enroll at mid-term, says he is now focusing on the other schools.
