Three-star offensive tackle Marquis Wallace holds nearly double-digit offers. The 6-foot-5, 310-pounder discussed the latest as he's looking to make a move from JUCO.
"A number of schools have offered me including Illinois, East Carolina, Kansas, Western Kentucky, Texas Tech, Pittsburgh, Houston, Maryland and South Florida," he said. "I'm waiting until after the season to take my visits since I play on the same day as the colleges recruiting me."
Wallace noted he may take a visit during his bye week, but has yet to set anything up.
In fact, Wallace isn't even sure who will land his officials at this time.
"I haven't narrowed my list yet, I'm just looking at all my options," he said. "I'm just looking at the relationship I have with the coaches. I'm looking at playing time, depth chart and if I'll be starting since I'll only have a couple years."
Wallace plans to enroll in a school this January and will have two years on the roster.
On the year, Wallace has helped Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna C.C. to a 4-3 record.
"I'm doing alright, I'm trying to help my team win out," he said. "I'm playing offensive tackle and my technique has improved this year. I've gotten a lot faster too.
"I always had the physical part and footwork, but I'm making myself stronger and improving my technique."
