Juco OL waits on North Texas

Chabot College offensive guard David Craiovan is headed for a trip to Youngstown State on Thursday and likely will sign at Youngstown unless North Texas comes in with an offer before then. Craiovan finished finals last week at Chabot and is itchy to make a decision. North Texas expressed interest in Craiovan last week but he has not heard from them since.
"If they don't call me this week, then I likely will sign at Youngstown State on Saturday," said Craiovan.

Craiovan is 6-foot-4, 300 lbs and was a jucaltransfer.com all state player in 2004 in addition to being an all-Golden Gate Conference selection. He was a qualifier out of high school and recruited by Portland State, St Mary's and San Jose State out of San Lorenzo High School.
Craiovan places an importance on playing time and thinks he can contribute right away at Youngstown.
"I guess Youngstown lost their right guard and right tackle for the season and so they want me out there by June 20," said Craiovan. "They offered me a full ride."
Given the choice between Youngstown and North Texas (all things being equal), Craiovan did not lean one way or another but re-iterated that playing time would play a part in the decision.
""If North Texas says the same thing, it would certainly be a tough decision," said Craiovan.
Craiovan also drew interest from Nevada, Arkansas State and Baylor during the course of the season.
