JuCo OL sets first official visit

Chucky Curry is a three-star offensive tackle prospect from the Junior College ranks. Curry, 6-6 and 309, is from East Central Mississippi Community College in Decatur.
"It's wasn't a good season," Curry said. We only won two games and didn't make the playoffs. I thought I played okay. I could have played better. Some areas I did well like pass blocking and there are some areas I need to work on like reach blocking."

According to Curry he has scholarship offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Iowa State. He will visit Iowa State (12-11) in December.
"I want to check them out because I have heard some good things. They play good competition and just like everyone else and they are losing lineman.
"I am going to take a trip to Tennessee. I have just not set that up yet. I have to pick a weekend I want to visit.
"I will likely take an official visit to Mississippi State when they play Ole Miss. I am not sure if I will take an official to Ole Miss. If I do it will be soon."
Curry has already had the chance to visit both the Rebels and Bulldogs this season for unofficial visits to games.
"I visited Ole Miss for the Alabama game and it was a pretty good game. I could see myself playing there and helping them out. That was my first time really watching them play. I didn't get a chance to meet coach (Houston) Nutt but heard he was a good man.
"I have caught two State games against LSU and Jackson State. It was real nice and a good atmosphere. They have friendly people there and I like the Mississippi State offense. They are recruiting me the hardest."
"Right now I am pretty open to everyone."
