Juco OL not heading to Big 12
There were reports floating around the Internet that Kansas State had picked up a mid-term signing from Southwestern (Calif.) College offensive lineman Josh Verhoeve. But there was one small problem.
"He signed with Kent State on Wednesday," said Southwestern coach Walt Justice.

"He tripped to Utah State and Louisville, but felt the academics at Kent State were just unbeatable."
Verhoeve, who is 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds, is an academic All-America selection. He was to major in pre-med.
