Juco OL has first offer
Garden City (Kan.) Garden City C.C. two-star offensive tackle Chris Barry is one of the better tackle prospects in the Kansas juco ranks, and the 6-foot-5, 290-pounder recently picked up his first scholarship offer.
"Murray State offered me," Barry said. "They were down here watching practice and offered me. I was definitely excited. "Right now, I'm hearing the most from Murray State, Southeastern Louisiana State and Missouri State."

Barry isn't sure when he'll make a final decision.
"I don't really have a commitment timetable," he said. "I'm just playing it by ear. It doesn't really matter to me. I just want to play at the next level. Location won't be a factor for me either. It's not really that important to me. I just want to play."
Barry said he felt like he had a good sophomore season.
"We went 7-3 this season and lost in the first round of the playoffs," he said. "I feel like I did a lot better this year than I did last year."
