Juco OL enjoyed first visit

Dodge City (Kan.) Dodge City C.C. three-star offensive tackle Kyle Burkhart has plenty of options on the table after a strong sophomore season. The mid-term graduate recently took an official visit and is close to setting up several others.
"I just actually got back from visiting Middle Tennessee State," he said. "I liked it there. It's a really nice place. They just showed me around the campus and stuff. They just took me out and showed me around."

Burkhart said he's starting to get some serious attention from other schools, too. He has new offers from Utah State, Western Michigan and Middle Tennessee State to go along with early offers from UAB and Murray State.
"I've been talking to Kansas," Burkhart said. "They want me to come up for a visit, not this weekend, but the weekend after. I've talked some to Central Michigan and I'm waiting to hear back from Boise State because I just sent them some film."
Burkhart said he's got a few top schools in mind.
"I'd say if Boise State offers, then that's my top school," he said. "If not then Middle Tennessee, I really liked it there."
Burkhart's team didn't have a great season, but he did play well.
"We were 1-8, but personally I did all right," he said. "I got second-team all-conference tackle."
