Juco OL adds new visit

Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College offensive lineman Jamar Bass had been planning on knowing his college football home by the time Christmas arrived. Now, that may not be the case.
"I will not be signing early," the 6-foot-4, 290-pound Bass said. "I am going to sign late. I just don't want to rush it to get done. I have taken two visits already.

"I visited Troy in November and I just visited South Florida last weekend. It was a good trip. Coach Leavitt told me to come back home and play. Home is a big deal, but it won't be the deciding factor in my decision."
Next on the calendar is an official visit to Illinois.
"I will visit Illinois this weekend," he said. "They've been recruiting me pretty hard. Coach Eric Wolford and Coach Ron Zook are the ones recruiting me. I'm looking forward to the trip."
The trip to Illinois will give Bass the chance to see the second of the two schools at the top of his list.
"I don't have any other visits planned. Those two are at the top of my list. I'll see what comes from this trip and then look at the schools and try to make a decision at that time."
