JUCO lineman visits Kansas State

Junior college offensive lineman Mark Glowinski from Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna J.C. took his first official visit last weekend to UConn and followed that up with his second this weekend to Kansas State. At this time Glowinski has two more possible visits lined up in January.
"Kansas State was great," said Glowinski, who returned home late Sunday night.

While this visit was a longer distance from home, Glowinski mentioned that this did not become an issue once he was there.
"Even though I live far away they did their best to make it seem like I'm at home and they treated me as family," said Glowinski.
So will distance come into play when Glowinski makes a final decision?
"I will think about that soon and have an answer when it comes time to make a decision," said Glowinski.
With this being his first visit to the state of Kansas, Glowinski was asked if he experienced any surprises.
"No, the trip was everything I expected it to be," said Glowinski. "The coaches were straight forward in advance on how they are, and they showed it."
Now that two visits are behind him, Glowinski was able to compare.
"They were really similar in all aspects," said Glowinski. "The main difference is that one is close to home and the other is a travel."
The next big decision for Glowinski will be if he decides to continue to take more visits.
"As of right now I'm planning on taking my scheduled visits," said Glowinski, who plans to visit South Florida and West Virginia in January.
