Juco DT schedules first official visit

North Dakota State College of Science defensive tackle Bobby Jones is getting set to enter his final season of junior college football. The schedule is a little faster on the recruiting trail for mid-year junior college graduates and the first official visit has been lined up for Jones.
"Bobby is going to visit Michigan State the weekend of November 5,” NDSCS assistant coach Mike Shafer said. “They will be playing Ohio State that weekend. He is pretty excited about the visit. He can’t wait to see what Michigan State has to offer. He has heard a lot of good things about them and their program.”

Michigan State assistant coach Steve Stripling came out to see Jones during the spring evaluation period.
“Coach Stripling actually came out on May 3 to speak with us about him,” Shafer said. “They like what they see in him.”
Another school talking about an official visit is Oregon.
“Oregon also wants to get him out their for a visit after our season is over. Bobby is looking for a date when he will be able to go out there.”
The 6-foot-5, 275-pound Jones recently received his first scholarship offer of the year, from Conference USA member Cincinnati.
