JUCO DT returns from trip to Gainesville
Defensive Tackle Eric Holcombe , the rivals100.com No. 7 ranked non-high school football player in the country, just returned from an official visit to Florida. Tonight, Rivals.com caught up with him to discuss his trip to Gainesville.
“The visit went really good,” the Northeast Mississippi C.C. All-American said “I took in a fraternity party and toured the campus, stadium and locker room.”

“The highlight of my trip was going over to Coach Zook’s house,” He said “Over at his house, the coaches and a few players were having a SEC party. I met Ian Scott and Ratcliff.”
How well did visit go and did the Gators move to the top of his list?
“I would have to rate my visit a nine,” Holcombe, who had 88 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss and six sacks this season, said. “Florida and Auburn are neck and neck now”
Tonight, Holcombe will entertain Ole Miss in his home. On Tuesday and Wednesday coaches from Florida and Auburn will pay him an in-home visit respectively.
On (12/13) he will make his final official visit to Auburn and then decide between the Gators and Tigers on the following Monday.
