Juco DT close to his decision

Dodge City (Kan.) Community College defensive tackle Antonio Searcy has an idea of what school he could end up playing for.
“I’ve got some strong considerations on a school,” the 6-foot-3, 305-pound Searcy said. “I have visited that school. There are two I really like so far the most. But, I’m keeping the names to myself. I don’t want any extra pressure from anyone.”

Searcy has visited three schools so far East Carolina (Nov. 14), Kansas State (Nov. 21) and South Florida (Dec.5).
“I went to USF over the weekend,” he said. “It was really nice. Better than I thought it was going be. I don’t know what I thought it would be. But, I guess everything was just better than I had in my mind.”
Searcy is squeezing in one last visit this weekend before making his college choice.
“I will be going to Kansas this weekend if plans hold the same,” he said. “If something changes, Purdue wants me to come up there. Signing day is on December17. So, I don’t have a real long time to go through this. I’ll need to make a decision soon. Sometime after my visit this weekend, I’ll have a decision.”
